The ABE Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Human Resource Management programme provides a professional qualification that may be used to prepare directly for a career in business, or to gain advanced entry onto a range of professional qualifications and university degrees in the UK and other countries. The programme provides students with an appreciation of the theoretical issues currently involved in the study of business and a range of practical skills which will enhance their value to potential employers.

Students who wish to take Diploma in Human Resource Management should have minimum aggregate of C in O' Levels or two years working experience or a Certificate in Human Resource Management.

Holders of Diploma in Human Resource Management will have a firm grounding in Personnel Management skills.

The course is conducted in two parts for a period of 10 months and students cover following units:-

Diploma Part One (5 Months)

• Human Resource Management
• Human Resource Development
• Organisational Behaviour
• Economic Principles & their Application to Business
  

Diploma Part Two (5 Months)

• People Planning and Resourcing
• Human Resource Management in Action
• Personnel Information Systems
• Employment Relations

Plus any one option

• Quantitative Methods for Business & Finance
• Principles of Business Law

The course is conducted twice a year and the intake is January and June of every year
